• The NYPD added 20 more SVU detectives after reports indicated that the division was critically understaffed.

• A 65-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in East Flatbush.

• Police released a video of a hooded gunman as he opened fire on a man as they stood on a sidewalk in East Flatbush. 

• Jury deliberations have begun in the 2014 case of a man accused of stabbing two children in an East New York elevator.

• The Knicks (28-52) will face the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 7:30 p.m.

• The Yankees (5-5) suffered another tough loss, losing to the Baltimore Orioles, 8-7. Giancarlo Stanton said the historically poor start for the team is just “a bad week.”

• The Mets (7-1) swept the Washington Nationals, beating them 6-5 in the 12th inning.

• The Nets (27-53) will take on the Chicago Bulls tonight at 7:30 p.m.

WHAT’S ON TV TONIGHT
• DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW, 8PM) – The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West, where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex.

• The Terror (CW, 9PM) – A cunning attack on the ships proves the men are not battling an ordinary bear and that the region’s Inuit culture may hold a key to their survival.

• Good Girls (NBC, 10PM) – Business is booming and the women are living large, but a threat from one of their employees reminds them how violent Rio can be when pushed and threatens everything they’ve been working toward.
