• The NYPD released a video of a Brooklyn man who was walking the streets holding a metal pipe that looked like a gun moments before he was shot and killed by cops. Meanwhile, NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced an investigation into the fatal shooting.

• The severely decomposed body of a missing CDC employee was found in a river in Northwest Atlanta.

• This year’s Atlantic hurricane season is expected to be slightly above-average, according to researchers.

• A judge refused to drop charges against two ex-NYPD detectivesaccused of raping a handcuffed Brooklyn woman in the back of a police van.

• Two men were arrested after they were caught attempting to smuggle two dozen finches through JFK Airport.

• UFC star Conor McGregor was involved in a backstage fight at Barclays Center.

• Northbound 2 and 3 trains are running local from Chambers St to 96 St because of a train with mechanical problems at 59 St-Columbus Circle. Expect delays on 1, 2 and 3 trains.

• NETFLIX: Despicable Me 3 – Gru meets his long-lost charming, cheerful, and more successful twin brother Dru who wants to team up with him for one last criminal heist.

• HULU: Black Sails Season 4 – The invasion of Nassau meets with catastrophe. Teach and Rackham seek revenge for the death of Charles Vane. Eleanor adjusts to her new role.
