• On Sunday afternoon, police responded to a 911 call of a man struck at the intersection of Cropsey Avenue and 16th Avenue in Bath Beach. Police found 64-year-old pedestrian Faquan Li with severe head trauma. He was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation found that 47-year-old Kamil Aldawaliby was operating the car when he struck Li. Aldawaliby was taken into custody and charged with failing to have a delivery license, aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator.
