Weekend Crime Roundup
• On Friday evening, a 38-year-old man was walking near Chestnut Street and Glenmore Avenue in East New York when he was approached from behind by five people. They pushed him to the ground, and punched and kicked him. They took his wallet and slashed him in the head with a weapon, causing a severe cut. The suspects fled with a total of $60. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for his wounds.

• On Sunday night, 38-year-old off-duty corrections employee Sakia Bey was arrested within the confines of the 73rd Precinct. She was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
