TOP STORIES
• Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey proposed a “Green New Deal” to counter climate change.

• Acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker said he will not appear before Congress on Friday without assurances that he won’t be subpoenaed.

• Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, who became the first black manager in Major League Baseball, died at the age of 83.

IN BROOKLYN
• A man was fatally shot and three others were wounded after an apartment shooting in Bed-Stuy.

• Commuters are still reporting an odor on the L train after the MTA suspended service on Tuesday to investigate harsh fuel smells.

• Authorities believe arson was involved after a row of at least 16 cement trucks went up flames in East Williamsburg.

• Metropolitan Av-bound M trains are delayed while crews correct a signal problem at Myrtle/Wyckoff Avs.

• Southbound 6 trains are running express from Hunts Point Av to 3 Av-138 St while the NYPD completes an investigation at 3 Av-138 St.

• Delays on I-278 eastbound between Metropolitan Avenue; Williamsburg Bridge (New York) and Queens-Kings County Line; Koskuisko Bridge (New York).

• Delays on I-278 westbound between Wythe Avenue (Brooklyn) and Exit 29B – Tillary Street (Brooklyn).

• Fire department activity on Vernon Avenue westbound between Stuyvesant Avenue (Kings) and Lewis Avenue (Kings) all lanes blocked until further notice.

• Delays on I-278 eastbound between Exit 24 – NY 27; Prospect Expressway Exit (New York) and Exit 28A – Old Fulton Street; Cadman Plaza West (New York).

• The Nets (29-27) edged the Nuggets, 135-130.

• The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8PM) – Penny tries to seduce an abstaining Leonard to ruin his “donation” for her ex-boyfriend, Zack, and his wife, Marissa.

• A Million Little Things (ABC, 9PM) – On the eve of the new restaurant opening, Delilah tracks down a handsome expert to help with the last-minute details. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with her overbearing mother who causes friction by bringing up disturbing details of her past.

• S.W.A.T. (CBS, 10PM) – Hondo reunites with an old flame, FBI Special Agent Elle Trask, when the SWAT team works with the FBI to bring in a separatist group with weapons-grade plutonium.

• Apple released an update to fix a security flaw in the Group FaceTime feature.

• Chrome is testing a dark mode for Windows 10 and macOS.

• Instagram and Facebook announced that they will start censoring ‘graphic images’ of self-harm.
