• A man urinated on two religious statues outside a church and then knocked them over and smashed them.

SUBWAY STATUS
• Northbound 6 trains are running with delays because of track maintenance between Hunts Point Av and Parkchester.

• Main St-bound 7 trains are running express from Queensboro Plaza to 74 St-Broadway because of an unauthorized person on the tracks at 61 St-Woodside. Expect delays in 7 train service in both directions.

• Broad St-bound J trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Crescent St.

• Delays on I-278 westbound from Queens-Kings County Line; KoskuiskoBridge (New York) to Exit 28A – Old Fulton Street; Cadman Plaza West (New York).

• Delays on I-278 eastbound from Metropolitan Avenue; Williamsburg Bridge (New York) to Queens-Kings County Line; Koskuisko Bridge (New York).

SCOREBOARD
• The Giants (4-8) topped the Chicago Bears in overtime, 30-27.

• The Jets (3-9) blew a large lead against the Tennessee Titans, 26-22.

• The Rangers (13-12-3) fell to the Winnipeg Jets in a shootout, 4-3.

• The Knicks (8-16) host the Washington Wizards at 7:30 p.m.

• The Nets (8-16) are home against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.

• St. John’s (7-0) beat Georgia Tech, 76-73.

• Verizon and Samsung announced plans to release a 5G smartphone in the first half of 2019.

• A report from Bloomberg indicates that Apple will not release a 5G compatible iPhone before 2020.
